Aims The students should understand product development as a continuous computer-aided process, learn to master the most important working methods and develop skills to recognize the development progress in processes and to control the process flow.

  • Networked product development processes in industry
  • Reference models for networked product creation processes
  • Value creation and process organization for networked product creation processes
  • Methods for supporting networked product creation processes
  • Computer support: (I) requirements modeling and systems engineering, (II)product modeling and simultaneous engineering, (III) production planning and control.
  • Industry 4.0, Cyber-Physical Systems, Future Internet, Components and Equipment are Information Carriers, Big Data
