Contents The class on Lean Production explains the history and structure of lean production systems. During the course of the semester the class addresses – in a demonstrative and practical way – basics to lean production systems, concept of value orientation and waste, standardisation and stability, just-in-time and pull-systems, lean quality, line optimization, value stream management, continuous improvement, lean logistics, implementation lean production.
