Lectures – practice and research-oriented

The Institute of Production Management, Technologies and Machine Tools (PTW) offers an interdisciplinary range of courses in the fields of production technologies, energy technologies and production management.

Our Bachelor's and Master's lectures, including Manufacturing Process Technology, Digitalization in Production, Machine Learning Applications, Lean Production and other lectures, provide in-depth specialist knowledge and enable practical application in modern production systems. Theory and practice are closely interlinked through excursions to industrial partners, guided tours of the institute's own test fields and presentations of demonstrators with the latest research topics.

Topics such as AI in production, energy-efficient manufacturing and digital, lean process chains reflect current developments in science and industry. Our lectures prepare students specifically for the challenges of modern production and provide them with the specialist knowledge they need to actively shape and further develop innovative production concepts.
