Intention
  • Working out problems in a team
  • Deepening of the lecture contents (no prerequisite)
  • Promotion of practical qualification
Main aims The first part of the tutorial focuses on the investigation of the dynamic behavior of the feed drives of a machine tool in theory and practice. In particular, the influence of the controller parameterization of the axes will be investigated. The second part deals with the conception of electropneumatic controls as well as the realization of a mechatronic overall system using the example of the training system mMS 4.0.
Activities Part 1: Machine tool
  • Modeling and simulation of the feed drive of a machine tool
  • Metrological investigation of a real machine tool and validation of the simulation results
Part 2: Automation
  • Design of electropneumatic circuits
  • PLC programming of the mechatronic training system mMS 4.0
