In many companies, process orientation and the application of lean methods have significantly increased their own value for customers and employees. As an educational and research initiative of the PTW at the TU Darmstadt, the process learning factory CiP forms a unique environment to learn the mentioned methods and to increase the productivity of your company. Here you will experience the construction of a practical production environment with real products.

ETA Learning Factory

As a real large-scale research facility, the ETA factory not only offers us excellent opportunities for research, but also serves as a learning environment in which the knowledge gained is transferred to industry and teaching. In particular, we make use of the learning environment as such within the framework of the training courses we offer. In the production hall of the ETA factory, there are two complete value chains in which market-ready products can be manufactured on a small scale.

FlowFactory

The FlowFactory is a learning factory building for researching technical and organizational implementation options for the digitalized, lean production of the future. The unique selling point of the FlowFactory is the logistical consistency of a multi-variant environment with customer-specific orders from incoming goods to outgoing goods. The focus is on customized single-item and small-batch production and its research and improvement on the real process.
