From November 13-15, Prof. Matthias Weigold , Daniel Fuhrländer-Völker and Felix Hoffmann visited the Basque region to visit the two research institutes IDEKO (opens in new tab) and TEKNIKER (opens in new tab). The focus of the visit was on the exchange of current research topics, which resulted in numerous points of contact for future cooperation. The tours through the laboratories of the two institutes and the variety of technologies on display were particularly inspiring.

We would like to thank both institutes for their hospitality and are already looking forward on a return visit to Darmstadt next year.
