Since the summer semester 2025, Ms. Bischoff and Mr. Spriestersbach have been supervising the tutorial Machine Tools and Automation in the Master's degree course. The first part of the tutorial focuses on the investigation of the dynamic behavior of the feed drives of a machine tool in theory and practice. In particular, the influence of the controller parameterization of the axes will be examined. The second part deals with the design of electro-pneumatic control systems and the implementation of a programmable logic controller (PLC) using the example of the mechatronic training system mMS 4.0.
