We successfully concluded the Final Review Meeting of the Flex4Res project at the Goimek facilities in Spain. Flex4Res highlights the importance of European collaboration in addressing resilience in manufacturing – considering supply chains, shopfloor operations, and resource management. The project also demonstrates how data spaces and ecosystems support cross-border cooperation.

Key outcomes include:

• Connector technology for IDS and Gaia-X, with AAS-based data representation for resilience-relevant production data
• Seven resilience assessment methods
• A toolbox of reconfiguration strategies for responding to disruptions at all production levels

These solutions were successfully applied in four European industrial use cases, achieving up to 40% reduction in reconfiguration time during disruptions. The positive feedback from reviewers underlines the continuing relevance of resilience in industrial production.
