Content

Aims On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
  1. Identify challenges and approaches for structuring the transformation towards sustainable production.
  2. Develop suitable scenarios for structuring the transformation towards sustainable production for a specific use case.
  3. Critically evaluate the sustainability efforts of manufacturing companies.
  4. Explain the term sustainability in a differentiated way.
  5. Carry out a greenhouse gas inventory taking into account the industrial energy system.
  6. Recognise the potential of the circular economy and digitalisation for sustainable production.
  7. Reproduce essential requirements for the sustainability reporting of companies.
